From decades of television success to a renewed passion for fashion and international cinema, Katherine Kelly Lang embraces transformation, creative freedom and the courage to begin a new chapter.
For decades, Katherine Kelly Lang has captivated audiences around the world, becoming one of television’s most recognizable and enduring personalities. Best known for her iconic portrayal of Brooke Logan on The Bold and the Beautiful, she has built a remarkable career defined by longevity, elegance and an unmistakable screen presence.
Yet behind the familiar face is a woman who refuses to be defined by a single role, achievement or chapter of her life.
Today, Katherine Kelly Lang is embracing an exciting period of reinvention, expanding her creative horizons through fashion, international cinema and new artistic collaborations. With a renewed sense of freedom and curiosity, she is stepping beyond expectations and discovering fresh ways to express herself, both personally and professionally.
At the heart of this transformation is her latest film, La Mia Storia Con Te, directed by Angelo Frezza and filmed in the picturesque Italian city of Rimini. Set to arrive in Italian theaters on November 5, the project marks another meaningful step in her evolving acting journey and reflects her growing connection with European cinema.
For Katherine, reinvention is not about leaving the past behind. It is about honoring every experience while finding the courage to explore what comes next. Like a phoenix rising into a new chapter, she approaches this moment with confidence, creativity and the belief that personal growth has no expiration date.

In this exclusive interview, Katherine Kelly Lang opens up about the power of transformation, her evolving relationship with fashion, the experience of filming in Italy, her changing definition of success and why the most exciting chapters of her life may still be ahead.
Q: Katherine, there is a feeling that you are entering a completely new chapter. Do you feel it too?
KATHERINE KELLY LANG: Absolutely. I think there are moments in life when you realize that you are no longer the person you were five or ten years ago, and instead of resisting that transformation, you embrace it. I feel like I am in one of those moments now. I’m still very much myself, but I’m allowing myself to explore different sides of who I am. It feels exciting, liberating and, honestly, a little bit like being reborn.

Q: You’ve been a recognizable face for decades. Reinventing yourself after so many years in the spotlight is not easy. Where did that desire come from?
KATHERINE KELLY LANG: I think reinvention comes from curiosity. I’ve never wanted to stand still. Being comfortable is wonderful, but there is something incredibly powerful about challenging yourself and saying, “What else can I do?” At this stage of my life, I don’t feel that I need to prove anything to anyone. That gives me the freedom to experiment, to take risks and to choose projects because they excite me.
Q: You are also making a particularly strong entrance into the fashion world. How does fashion fit into this new version of you?
KATHERINE KELLY LANG: Fashion has always been part of my life, but I think I’m experiencing it differently now. I’m not interested in simply wearing beautiful clothes. I’m interested in the story behind them, the designers, the craftsmanship and, most importantly, the woman I become when I wear them. Fashion can be a form of self-expression at any age. There are no expiration dates.

Q: You’ve spoken about reinvention, almost as a phoenix rising from the ashes. Why does that image resonate with you?
KATHERINE KELLY LANG: The phoenix doesn’t deny what came before. It transforms it. Everything we experience, our successes, failures, heartbreaks, lessons, changes, becomes part of who we are. You don’t have to erase your past to create something new. You can take everything you’ve learned and use it as the foundation for your next chapter. That is what the phoenix represents to me.
Q: And perhaps there is something particularly beautiful about reinventing yourself when people already think they know who you are.
KATHERINE KELLY LANG: Absolutely. Sometimes people become attached to an image of you because they’ve known you for so long. But we are not photographs. We are constantly evolving. I love surprising people, but more importantly, I love surprising myself.

Q: Your acting career is also taking you in new directions. Tell us about your new film, La Mia Storia Con Te.
KATHERINE KELLY LANG: I’m incredibly excited about it. La Mia Storia Con Te was filmed in Rimini, under the direction of Angelo Frezza, and it was such a special experience. There is something wonderful about being on a set where you can immerse yourself completely in the story and the characters. This film allowed me to explore a different dimension of myself as an actress, and I’m very proud of what we created.
Q: Was working in Italy particularly meaningful for you?
KATHERINE KELLY LANG: Very much so. Italy has such an extraordinary cinematic tradition, and filming in Rimini gave the project a very particular atmosphere. The location itself becomes part of the emotion of the story. I loved being there, working with the cast and crew and experiencing Italian cinema from the inside.
Q: The film arrives in Italian theaters on November 5. What would you like audiences to take away from it?
KATHERINE KELLY LANG: I hope they allow themselves to feel it. For me, cinema is at its best when you recognize something of yourself in a character or in a story. La Mia Storia Con Te has emotions, relationships and moments that I think audiences can connect with on a very human level. I’m really looking forward to finally sharing it with them.

Q: Does this film represent another piece of the reinvention we’ve been talking about?
KATHERINE KELLY LANG: Definitely. Every new role teaches you something. Every set introduces you to new people, new challenges and sometimes a new version of yourself. I don’t think reinvention happens in one dramatic moment. It happens project by project, choice by choice.
Q: Why should people go and see it in a theater?
KATHERINE KELLY LANG: Because cinema is an experience. You sit in the dark with a room full of strangers and, for a couple of hours, everyone is sharing the same story and the same emotions. I think that’s something very special—and I hope La Mia Storia Con Te gives audiences exactly that.
Q: What does “success” mean to you today compared with when you were younger?
KATHERINE KELLY LANG: When I was younger, success was very connected to achievements,
to the next job, the next milestone, the next goal. Today, success feels much more personal. It’s waking up excited about what I’m doing. It’s surrounding myself with people who inspire me. It’s being healthy, creative and curious. And it’s knowing that I still have so many chapters left to write.

Q: And then there is fashion, cinema, appearances, new collaborations… It seems like you are refusing to put yourself in just one box.
KATHERINE KELLY LANG: I don’t think I ever really belonged in one box. I’ve been fortunate to have a long career, but longevity doesn’t mean repeating yourself. It means having the opportunity to evolve. I want to continue acting, continue exploring fashion, continue collaborating with interesting people and, most of all, continue saying yes to things that make me feel alive.
Q: And what can we expect from Katherine Kelly Lang next?
KATHERINE KELLY LANG: Hopefully, the unexpected. That’s the fun part. I want people to look at what I’m doing and think, “I didn’t see that coming.” And I want to keep surprising myself along the way.
Q: One final question. What would you tell the woman who is afraid that she is too far into her life to start over?
KATHERINE KELLY LANG: I would tell her that you never start over. You start from experience. Everything you have lived through comes with you, and that is your strength. There is no age limit on becoming someone new. If you feel that there is another version of yourself waiting to come out, listen to her. Give her space. And let her rise.
